2012 hottest in history? No way.

This week American’s were hit with a whirlwind of misinformation and outright lies about the state of the climate. Bogus headlines from January 9 included:

“2012 was the hottest year ever recorded,” nationally syndicated liberal talk show host Thom Hartman.

“2012 was the hottest year in the U.S.” New York Times.

“2012 was the warmest year ever for the United States and the most extreme,” NBC News.

The headlines were derived from a press release issued by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) which stated 2012 “was the warmest year in the 1895-2012 period of record for the nation.” NOAA’s data included only the lower 48 states.

To discover why NOAA and the media outlets that blindly parrot these claims are dead wrong, and what really is the hottest year ever, click here to read the full story.

  1. radio silence says:

Just saw KSFO’s recent ratings plummet. Brutal.

  2. Sorry to ruin your day but our morning show ratings are the highest in years!

  3. radio silence says:

You should post some actual ratings info to back that up, but won’t. The truth is that KSFO’s ratings are abysmal. Here is a link of some recent month’s ratings…KSFO is way under KGO and KCBS, and tied with KKSF. The KSFO morning show gets absolutely owned by Armstrong and Getty in terms of total listeners, and the shows are neck and neck in SF. You should do a sketch where you wash and detail their cars.

    Absolutely brutal.

  4. Sorry, dude, but in the coveted 25-54 male demo we beat A&G nearly 2-1. Not sure where you get your facts from, but they’re about as flimsy as Al Gore’s.

  5. radio silence says:

What a surprise. No link to a source. How very Sussified.
No problem. I’m sure all your readers believe that there are 25-year-olds who listen to you and Melanie Morgan.

  6. radio silence says:

More absolutely brutal ratings for KSFO (notice how there is a link to the ratings, as opposed to Mr. Sussman’s approach to making up “facts”)
