BIG changes coming to my radio program, today at 7!
Conservatives will be THRILLED. Liberals will be FURIOUS (but they won’t be able to keep themselves from listening).
By the way, after 7, we will be joined by Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and Ann Coulter, who will all be calling in to celebrate the changes. Congressman J.D. Hayworth ( TEA Party favorite from Arizona) will be joining us at 8:45 too.
Prepare for pure radio excitement, as the KSFO Morning Show is about to become hotter than ever!
The only thing I can say is what I tell our Senior Pastor at church, “You are too much of a treasure not to share.” I’m hoping you are broadening your broadcast range so that more may hear some sanity in a sea of otherwise liberal nutcase radio hosts on the other stations in California and elsewhere.

Sounds interesting. I’m NOT at all happy with what Cumulus has done with the other former ABC O&Os (like KGO) and I fear they are going to destroy KSFO as well. Time will tell I guess.

Brian ~ What is going on with Rush? People are saying he is leaving KSFO as of Monday? Is this true?
As long as Officer Vic, Katie G, and Sherri are still “on the team”, you can make any programming changes you want.
Nice story telling Brian… I don’t buy the story for a minute… I think that the story is probably closer to that of the release of Lee Rodgers…What a shame.
Why do I feel someone is peeing on my leg and tells me it’s raining. Vic in Montana? That’s rich. This is my take, Katie Green is good and comes cheap. She did a fantastic job while you guy were away. One of those days she did all four roles, produced, weather, traffic and chat, plus she was facebooking us with details. What a talent. Officer Vic will be missed. However, the only thing we can depend on are death, taxes and changes on radio. Good luck with the changes, will stay tuned.
I’m sorry to see OV go. KSFO’s loss is Montana’s gain.
Man, in radio the only thing constant is change. I’ll miss Officer, Dr. Vic. You guys made a great team. I can’t believe the great quips that he comes up with…sometimes I almost have to double-drink my coffee from laughing!
Well at least, you’ve still got two beautiful women around to keep you company.

OV will be missed as are Breakfast With Benner and Benner’s Basement.
It must be the Cumulus people’s decision. OV has a loyal audience of which I am definitely one. You and OV were like old friends I would have coffee with every morning. I don’t know who you are going to replace OV with, Brian, but it won’t do down well for me. Still love you, just sad about the news.

Really not happy with Cumulus. They are ruining radio in the bayarea. OV is 75 % of the show. Not sure now if I am gonna listen any more. They also screwed up KGO. Not good I will have to buy satalite radio. Bad move cumulus management

Sorry Brian, this is a load of crap. OV is a very integral part of the show. And, I’m sorry to say, I don’t think the show will continue to have success without him. And the fact that Rush is leaving….well, so am I.
Officer Vic will be greatly missed. You two are so great together. But I wish him and his wife all the happiness in Montana. Wish I could leave California. Will continue to be a loyal listener. Thank you for all you do Brian, making life a little easier in California.

Sorry to hear of Officer Vic being fored. He was a bit of continuity from the Lee Rodgers days. I hope he pops up on another Bay Area Station. Sad to see the Cumulus people messing with something that worked so well.

Just heard that starting Tuesday, the KSFO morning show will be Mornings With Karel and the Suss. While I’m surprised either host would want to work with the other, it should make for some exciting horseplay on air! And I’m glad Karel gets top billing, so FABULOUS!
I believe that you were trying to put a light spin on OV’s leaving.. OV was very good at his job and he will be missed by the vast listening audience.
I’m think that Cumulus and it’s predecessor, Citadel only care about the bottom line, which I do understand. But their thinking is short-term. Citadel took the two top stations in the Bay Area and wrecked them. Cumulus is finishing the job.
Cumulus like most of these profit-at-all-costs companies is probably run by a Harvard MBA jackass. Whoever came up with the modern MBA program deserves “that special hell reserved for child molesters and those who talk in the theater.”
Sussman – I agree this story sounds like a load of crap, just like your show became after you stabbed Lee Rodgers in the back. Hope your show goes into the toilet.

Just like “comfort foods”,some people become part of your life–Johnny Carson, Herb Caen, Lee Rodgers, Officer Vic, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity and Brian Sussman. Things change, but life goes on.

We also know that KSFO, sat this point is just a stepping stone for Brian Sussman who WILL go on to bigger and better things. This morning show is just his launching pad for a brighter future.

As much as I loved Officer Vic, I will continue to listen. Your show starts my day. Then it continues with Rush, Hannity and the big finish, Levin. I realize there may be confidential reasons that you can’t say much, and I do wish certain people would quit blaming you.
Brian. Who cares what these hateful people say. Whatever changes that come, as much as OV is loved, will be gladly received by the majority of listeners. You are an icon of conservatism in the liberal Bay Area and you rock. Katie and Cheri are as equally loved and received by all who are your true listeners. God bless you all on KSFO morning show. Brian has chosen to stab his friends and colleagues in the back and try to crank up his volume of hate, bigotry, and moronic ignorance. Here’s what will happen: Crying’ Brian will get a blip of spotlight between now and his next “book” and then he will continue to slip slide around in obscurity. Obama will be re-elected in November and Cryin’ Brian will be in Officer Vic’s position by nye 2013.
But today, Sussy took to the air and said “officer Vic is gone and that’s it.” what a hateful tool.
This might be step one. Like it or hate this, this “Big Change” is probably temporary. Something will replace it after the election.
Thoughtful conversation between the ideologically opposed…I could see that. But I do not think Brian and Karel are the ones to pull that off. It would just be a noise fest.

What a shock, if true!
While I respect much of your programming, i hate to say that I listened mostly for the inimitable humor of OV. He interacted so well with you and with Lee + Melanie before you. He made the show a treat for all the frustrated commuters.
Who are these lame-brains at Cumulus? First they run down KGO, now they also spoil KSFO. Are they the agents of the Mayan calendar? So it’s true: 2012 has hardly started, and it’s already a disaster for the Bay Area.
I have seen KSFO lean ever so slightly toward the left little by little as years have gone by. If they try to do a Hannity/Colmes kind of radio with Sussman–I am gone. Never could watch Hannity…why do I need more liberal tripe–I’m in California, all I need do is step out my front door. Someone said they wondered if Soros had a hand in this. It could appear so. Where will I go if I don’t have KSF0? The internet will be the only place untouched..for now.
Does sussman work for soros? That seems unlikely. But he is a thin skinned water carrier who wants to have some celebrity, even if it means being a hateful tool. Word is that mark Levin is going to be voicing a new animated character for a cartoon network about the world’s tiniest angriest talking phallus; if it gets picked up it means sussman can get more of that national mr nasty work that gets his rocks off

Now that Melanie is back, can we get more local shows dealing with local issues? There is only ONE show – Sussman – dealing with local issues. Weekends aren’t much better. There’s one show on Saturdays and Sundays (Barbara Simpson).
