Biggest Climate Lie of 2023

The big climate story for 2023 is also one of the biggest pseudo-science lies to ever be perpetrated on humanity. According to numerous recent news reports, 2023 is “virtually certain” to go down in the record book as the hottest 12-month period in the past 125,000 years.

Virtually certain.

Where does this prognostication originate? From a batch of scientists in Europe. Says the Reuters news agency: “This year is virtually certain to be the warmest in 125,000 years, European Union scientists said [in November] after data showed last month was the world’s hottest October in that period.”

In my upcoming book, Climate Cult, I illustrate how ridiculous statements like this pass for facts, when they are actually purposeful barbs of disinformation.

First off, Earth’s actual, complete, temperature record only extends back to 1979, when we first began monitoring the atmosphere via satellite. That means there have been 124,956 years unaccounted for. Apart from the satellite record, most of the planet’s thermometers have been installed since the 1980’s. Not too long. The most reliable, widespread temperature gauges recording daily high and low readings are housed in the United States and have been in place since the mid to late 19th century. These records, from the U.S. Historical Climatology Network, point to the 1930’s as experiencing the hottest weather since the Industrial Revolution and the associated use of fossil fuels for energy. Temperature records in other parts of the world are largely unreliable, primarily due to wars, political upheaval, and various disasters.

So, where are the European Union scientists getting this from? Was there a pre-Adamic race jotting down daily temperatures on the walls of caves sthat the rest of us don’t know about?

The writer of the Reuters’ article also insists, “The heat is a result of continued greenhouse gas emissions from human activity, combined with the emergence this year of the El Nino weather pattern, which warms the surface waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean.”

Note to Reuters: greenhouse gases are a necessary feature for the survival of all living species and organisms.  Without these heat absorbing gases, Earth would be void of life. Second, the “greenhouse gas emissions” you are referring to are, of course, carbon dioxide, which is a compound required for the survival of the plant kingdom, without which Earth would be uninhabitable. Of the miniscule amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere (.04 percent), at the most—4 percent—is created by “human activity.” Hardly scary.

Also, the El Nino weather pattern is driven by periodic ocean currents that remain a mystery. And those currents (like water vapor and even cloud cover) cannot be factored into the highly touted climate models used to predict the planet’s impending doom.

What we do know about past climate is that it was once much warmer than today. We know this from observation. For example, in the Swiss Alps and the Andes Mountains in South America, looking upwards at the peaks one can easily discern dead tree stumps above the current tree line, extending an average of 1,500 feet beyond current growth. In other words, at one point the climate was so warm that trees could flourish at significantly higher elevations. That’s just one example defying the climate lies.

Those drawn in to the climate cult have been duped by the wild claims made by activists parading as scientists, leftist politicians, stakeholders looking for emotion-based funding, early investors in so-called “green” technologies who are looking to make a financial killing, and members of the media who hate America.

As I will reveal in Climate Cult, the climate change agenda has nothing to do with caring for the environment. Instead, it is a plan to dismantle and obliterate the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The book will be out next year, just in time for Earth Day, April 22nd.
