A Kingdom Divided Shall Not Stand: Saving America From Dissension

About ten years ago, a friend of mine in the Silicon Valley told me, “Data is the new oil.” My friend would know. He successfully launched, and took public, a major software development company and then became a founding officer for a major database corporation. Not only is he worth untold millions, but he made a lot of millionaires as well. The “data” he spoke of involves everything from computers to personal information.

Data collection is the new oil. Not only has it made many into the wealthiest people the planet has ever seen, but its collection is destroying America. Tech companies began trolling for our personal data years ago, particularly through social media. We all knew it was occurring, and most simply thought it was so these companies could better target advertising. Yeah, right. That was not even the half of it. What they have been doing is collecting data on what you think, how you think, what you desire, what you’ve said, and what you’ve purchased. They even know your secrets and lies. A slogan once attributed to Google declares, “We know you better than you know yourself.” But it is not just Google, Facebook, Apple, and Twitter (X)—it’s Russia, China, and other countries who do not have the best interests of the United States in mind. What these companies and countries are doing is purposefully sowing seeds of division.

Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand” (Matthew 12:25 NKJV). The Lord’s words are playing out before our very eyes as the Big Tech titans and evil nations drive thought, create opinion, and push agendas that fly in the face of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Given that most people now get their “news” from the likes of Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, etc., it’s easy to serve up misinformation, disinformation, and propaganda at large. And, based on your online proclivities, as well as everything you say on the phone, to Alexa or near a Smart TV, everything you text, email and read, these digital entities know how to push your buttons. It is interesting to note, TikTok is a Chinese company and yet the communist government there will not allow their people to participate in the app.

Think about the overwhelming division that’s been sown into the fabric of America.  Let’s begin with Donald Trump. For years this man was a well-liked celebrity and a go-to interview for the likes of Oprah, Howard Stern, and the liberal ladies on The View. Suddenly he descends the escalator at Trump Tower and he’s public enemy number one. A vote for Trump was able to divide families to the point where relationships have been cutoff. The same kind of terrible division occurred over a virus and vaccinations. What caused millions of kids to decide they are transgender or even “furries?” Why is there so much contempt for our police and law enforcement? Why do pro-Palestinian themes usually trend higher than pro-Israel opinions on social media?  And finally, into my wheelhouse: the climate. How did a weak hypothesis become accepted as scientific law to the point where skeptics are vilified as dangerous idiots?

Do you not see what’s happening? This is a digital information war that has been launched on the United States by both foreign and domestic subversive forces, and it’s ripping us apart.

I have much more to say on this topic in my current podcast as I share from a recent speech I presented at a law enforcement conference in Monterey, California. Just look for the Brian Sussman Show, episode number 227, “Dissension: How Big Tech and Foreign Governments are Dividing America.”  In fact, you can even listen to it via my website.

I should also mention that my upcoming book, Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty, and Property will reveal the complete story of this dangerous division we are currently suffering. The book will be available for pre-purchase in the latter part of February.
