America, Wake Up: The Slippery Slope is about to End

Like you, I am burdened for my country, the United States of America.

In the history of the entire world, ours is the only nation founded on the God-given natural rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (the latter equating to the joy of one’s own property, both physical and intellectual), and ruled “by the people.”

However, for decades our freedoms, our Biblical underpinnings, and our spirit of patriotism have been continually chipped away. We are swiftly drifting into dangerous waters.

Below, I note a handful of events that have brought significant damage to our nation. While there were many who spoke out against these acts of treason, sadly there were just not enough of us to make a difference.  We are on an extremely slippery slope that could well be nearing an end:

In 1943, when a Jehovah’s Witness challenged the daily salutation of the U.S. flag in America’s schools and won the decision in the Supreme Court, patriots should have taken note.

In 1962, when the Supreme Court banned school-sponsored prayer, God’s people should have seen the writing on the wall. The slip was well under way.

In 1973, when abortion was legalized, the church at-large rolled over in a slumber. Sure, many saints protested and prayed for decades, and then, miraculously Roe v Wade was overturned in 2022—but only after the lives of millions were taken.

Tragically, states are now free to make their own decisions on the matter of abortion, thus leading to horrid abortion sanctuaries. Too many in those pro-abortion states remain silent on the matter.

In 2014, 54-percent of all children were being raised in a household without both of their biological parents. In 1960 this family dynamic was radically different: 73-percent of all kids lived with both of their biological parents in a traditional marriage situation (Pew Research).

As of 2018, the percentage of births to unmarried women rose from 5-percent in 1960, to 40-percent in 2018.  The percentage is certainly even higher today.

These statistics represent a clear sign of moral decay and the lack of Christian influence on the culture.

In 2022, when the sacred institution of marriage was legally redefined, many churches and individual Christians submitted themselves into silence for fear of retribution, censorship, and persecution.

Currently, a gross delusion is covering America. Children are growing up on tablets and I-pads, watching content that is better fit for a dunghill. It is twisting their minds, while simultaneously stunting their physical stature and abilities. Children as young as grade school have phones: boys are watching porn and girls are sharing nude photos of themselves—this is the norm, parents

.Is it any wonder that in the western world even toddlers are “transitioning” to another supposed gender?

Ask the average high-schooler to define “monogamy” or “celibacy.” Likely, they have never heard the words before.

“Oh, but my child’s school is wonderful.”

Really?

Don’t judge your kid’s school by the new buildings and turf football field—that’s all a taxpayer-funded façade.  Examine the individual teachers and the curriculum. Are they teaching about inalienable rights or Critical Race Theory? Is Biblical morality being positively addressed? Are phones allowed in the classroom?

Wake up!

The very end of the slippery slope is in sight–and it does not look pretty. History is a brutal mirror. The end of a nation too often corresponds with a lack of patriotism, the breakdown of the family, and gross immorality.

This is a battle for the soul of the United States of America.  As God’s people we need to fight this battle on our knees in prayer, strategically sharing our faith with a culture that is thirsting for truth and desperately desiring to be set free.

Liberal Religious Leaders Sue Missouri Over Abortion Ban

They are dead wrong.

Thirteen clergy from six faith traditions filed a lawsuit against the State of Missouri on January 19, claiming that the state’s ban on abortion constitutes an imposition of a Christian belief and thus violates the separation of church and state. The clergy members also stressed that the abortion ban violates their religious beliefs.

I will get to a couple quotes from these religious leaders in a moment, but here is what the Missouri ban, House Bill 126, says:

“In recognition that God is the author of life and that Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution of Missouri provides that all persons have a natural right to life, it is the intention of the general assembly of the state of Missouri to [grant]: (1) Defend the right to life [to] of all humans, born and unborn [and to]; (2) Declare that the state and all of its political subdivisions are a ‘sanctuary of life’ that protects pregnant women and their unborn children….”

The bill goes on to state that, “no abortion shall be performed or induced upon a woman, except in cases of medical emergency.”

God bless the people of Missouri and their stand for righteousness.

By enacting the abortion ban, the lawsuit claims that legislators “imposed their preferred religious doctrine on everyone, forcing the citizens and taxpayers of this State to fund the establishment of that doctrine and to obey it regardless of their own faith and beliefs, and irrespective of the resulting grave harms to those seeking abortion care.”

As for the “religious leaders,” they clearly showed their willful ignorance of the Bible.

Rabbi Jim Bennett, head of Congregation Shaare Emerth, Creve Coeur, said, “Deeply rooted in Jewish scripture and tradition is the understanding that the life, safety, and well-being of a mother have priority over that of an unborn fetus. Missouri’s state-sponsored bans on abortion are based on one narrow Christian view of abortion, which is wholly inconsistent with Reform Judaism.”

Rabbi Andrea Goldstein, also with Congregation Shaare Emeth, said, “My faith demands safe, equitable access to all forms of reproductive care, including abortions.”

The Rt. Rev. Deon K. Johnson, Eleventh Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri, said, “I believe that abortion, which is based in reason and science, is not incompatible with scripture and is supported by my faith.

Rev. Jan Barnes, with the United Church of Christ, said, “Missouri’s abortion bans legislate a religious view of abortion that is entirely at odds with my religious beliefs and the reproductive counseling I’ve offered as a United Church of Christ minister.”

The Bible does teach that life begins at conception.

Bible aside, the science is clear,  human life begins at the time of conception. From the moment fertilization takes place, a baby’s genetic makeup is already complete. Its gender has already been determined, along with its height and hair, eye and skin color. The only thing the embryo needs to become a fully-functioning being is time in the womb to grow and develop.

God reveals to us in His Word that not only does life begin at conception, but He knows who we are even before then. The Jewish scriptures (Old Testament)  state, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you (Jeremiah 1:5).

In a prayer, King David said this about God’s role in our conception: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb . . . your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be,’ (Psalm 139:13, 16).

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but when churches and synagogues spout religious nonsense that is contrary to their own founding documents (the Bible), someone needs to call them out.

Ending the Curse of Roe v Wade: A Call to Pray

The Supreme Court could end Roe v Wade.  We must pray.
The Court’s decision will be made on Friday.

If you want to know where I stand on this, take a look at our family portrait (below).

I’m posting a summary of a wonderfully written, extensive article, on this monumental case currently before the Court. A link to the full article is found afterward.

Remember, all we need are five justices to see the light of truth.

———–

Roe v. Wade remains one of the most controversial judicial decisions in American history. Even after 50 years, dozens of additional abortion decisions, and an ongoing vigorous national debate, most Americans oppose most of the abortions that Roemade legal. Even the most creative legal scholars have failed to find a reasonable constitutional justification for Roe, and most have stopped trying. Roe’s abortion regime is far more permissive than the common law or statutes, in England or America, have ever provided. Lower courts have never been able consistently to discern and apply the subjective holdings in the Court’s abortion cases. And even the Court’s chosen basis for creating the right to abortion—the detriment that prohibiting abortion would impose—has been significantly undermined by dramatic economic, legal, and social changes in society and culture.

From changing public sentiment on abortion to advances in medical technology that reveal the mysteries of fetal development to expanding opportunities for women, the redefinition of their societal roles, and a wanting connection between abortion and women’s economic and social progress, it is appropriate for the Court to—as Justice Ginsburg rightly noted—follow the changes that have occurred elsewhere in society and put a halt to its misguided leadership on the issue of abortion.

Roe and Casey went beyond distorting or incorrectly interpreting the Constitution; they ignored the Constitution altogether, exceeding the judiciary’s proper authority in the process. Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization provides an opportunity for the Court to correct this grave error.

Supreme Court: Texas Abortion Ban Stands

Finally, some great news coming out of Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Supreme Court, in a decision that was delayed long enough to allow a new Texas abortion ban to take effect, has decided to allow the state requirements to stand pending further court review that is expected to happen in coming months.

The 5-4 majority in the decision included the three justices appointed by President Trump, and left members of the minority complaining about the violation of the U.S. Constitution because of their own perception of a “federal constitutional right” to abortion.

Gripe all you want, you “pro-choice” assassins. This was a big victory for President Donald Trump, who appointed three of the justices, and sent shockwaves through the left,

By the way, the constitutional issue is already is on the SCOTUS docket for later this year when a major ruling is expected on another abortion ban, this one from Mississippi, that could be used to undermine, or even overturn, the original 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that created that “right” to abortion.

Pro-Aborts are already calling for violence. A Planned Parenthood Action executive in Arizona, Chris Love, is calling for violence after the U.S. Supreme Court allowed to take effect a Texas law banning many abortions.

“Be ready to break some s—,” Love wrote on social media.

It’s a shame Love is incapable of living up to her last name.

The justices had failed to act on Tuesday and the law took effect on Wednesday. The opinion actually came out overnight going into Thursday, and might have been delayed because of the insistence by the four dissenters to each write their own opinion on the dispute.

Texas wrote the law specifically to make challenges difficult, as the routine for challenging a state law is to attack those officials charged with enforcement. But Texas allows each and every citizen to be responsible for enforcement, through lawsuits by them and against those offering or providing abortion or abortion services.

Let us pray for the total elimination of Roe v Wade.

Hidden Headlines Episode 62: Race Riots, Black Lives, Trump 2020, and Planned Genocide

The left is diabolically well-run and well-funded.  In addition, their whole entity seems to perfectly work together for the same goal which at the least is a total transformation of America and at most is the total destruction of America as we know it.  That stated, attempting to determine the ultimate leader of the left is futile, leading many, like me, to believe there are spiritual forces in dark places running their operation.

What we do know is that the left has loads of money and immense influence.  The left also employs a variety of strong-arm groups, one of them being Antifa.

Antifa is a revolutionary Marxist/anarchist militia movement that seeks to bring down the United States by means of violence and intimidation. From everything I can determine their leadership is predominently white.

Another group being employed by the left is a very loud, sometimes violent, and now quite well known: Black Lives Matter.

You may recall, Black Lives Matter began in July 2013 when George Zimmerman was acquitted of fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old unarmed black teenager.

Among the other factions wreaking havoc in America right now are independent anarchists, socialists, communists, internationalists, and a cabal of thieves and rabble rousers all of whom would relish nothing more than the destruction and transformation of America.

However, at the top of the food chain are those mysterious people in high places calling the shots, directing the funding, and providing the lawyers to defend those who find themselves in the crosshairs of traditional justice. They are the most evil of all, and they seek to use crisis of all kinds to their advantage.

Not only are they inherently evil, but they are fervent racists because they cunningly advocate for eugenics.

Eugenics is a movement aimed at improving the genetic composition of the human race by selectively breeding individuals who have “desired” traits.

The eugenics movement began in the United States in the late 1800s where it made a concerted effort to stop the transmission of negative or “undesirable” traits from generation to generation. In response to that idea, some U.S. leaders, private citizens, and corporations started funding eugenics studies.

During the 20th century, a total of 33 states had sterilization programs in place. While at first sterilization efforts targeted mentally ill people exclusively, later the traits deemed serious enough to warrant sterilization included alcoholism, criminality chronic poverty, blindness, deafness, feeble-mindedness, and promiscuity. It was also not uncommon for African American women to be sterilized during other medical procedures without their consent.

One of the America’s most prominent eugenicist was the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger.  In fact, to this day she is revered like a saint by that organization. I recently produced a barnburner of a podcast on this subject (Hidden Headlines Episode #62) wherein I reveal the deep-pocketed, highly influential people running the left’s progressive wing all revere Sanger and are using these various groups, like Antifa and Black Lives Matter, to take advantage of various crises in order to stir up hatred towards Donald Trump and keep him from being re-elected. Because if is he given another four years in the White House, it’s likely their hallowed law known as Roe v Wade will be overturned and abortion outlawed.
