Conservative media is totally missing the real story. This current tidal wave of socialist adherence is not a passing fad and, unless an entire generation were to change their minds, our Republic is doomed for a dark future.
As I’ve share in recent posts and podcasts, Millennials and Gen Z have been brought up in a cauldron of hyper-liberal propaganda and mind-washing sloganism that has been taught in the public school system for 40-years, enhanced via social media, and confirmed by acquiring the new “currency,” as I will explain.
First, some of the more popular leftist slogans: the Founders were racist, America’s a patriarchy, capitalism is evil, eat the rich, free markets are not free, equal opportunity, the Bible is intolerant, god is a woman, my body my choice, defund the police, none are free until all are free, democracy means courage, healthcare not warfare. All of these rallying cries were established based on emotion as opposed to historical evidence and corroboration.
Case in point, if I were to hit a few of the above anti-capitalist/anti-police slogans over the head in a brief paragraph, I would say:
What capitalism represents is freedom; the space to create, unleash ingenuity, and create new business that bring forth employment opportunities and the chance for advancement for those willing to work for it—the very thing the left seeks to undermine. Free markets do not exist in a state of nature, they can only exist with the rule of law. You can’t have free markets and a thriving economy if people, property, and businesses are unprotected. As for defunding the police, this can only occur in a society where even the smallest infractions are strictly punished with absolute intolerance and no opportunity to for the accused to have the right to remain silent, let alone the right to be represented by an attorney.
What I just stated is verifiable, yet the left refuses to debate such talk. My opinion would be offensive to them. In fact, Millennials and Gen Z have been directed to be deeply unforgiving towards those with contrary opinions and beliefs. You see, personal offenses equal personal trauma and are deemed acquired currency. So is interaction with “underprivileged” peers.
Here’s an example based on scenarios experienced by several of my friends:
Harper’s parents spent their hard-earned money to place her in private Christian education. Many of Harper’s friends outside of school teased her for being educated in such an “intolerant” system. Harper asked to transfer to public school, but her parents refused to allow her. She began to rebel against her Christian upbringing. Her friends and social media choices fortified her dissent. In college she drifted farther away from her parents and their conservative lifestyle and viewpoints. She’s now thirty and hasn’t spoken to them in years. She refuses to forgive them for the trauma they brought to her life. In fact, if Harper’s offended by anyone she simply axes them further contact.
You see, within her tribe, defiance aimed at conservatism is a badge of honor—it’s currency. She has elevated her social status by going to therapy for the wounds she incurred in a Christian family. She gained additional currency having friends who are gay and transexual, attending Free Palestine rallies, and occasionally wearing a facemask in crowded spaces. She’s all in for killing capitalism and abolishing the electoral system and she’s publicly discussed it online. She’s proud to have voted for a Muslim and calls herself a Democratic Socialist. If you try rationally discussing your opposition to Harper’s choices, even in a respectful manner, she’ll quickly end the conversation and then use that experience as another badge of honor.
In fact, if Harper were to read the previous paragraph, she might reply, “And what the f— is your point, fascist?”
More currency.
There are thousands of Harpers.
It’s ironic, but the only hope to cure what ails this unforgiving sector of society is found in the very Bible they despise: Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you (Phillippians 4:32).
Keep America in your prayers.
The well-known conservative media outlet, Epoch Times, has just released their extensive video interview with me regarding the connection between human-caused climate change (of which there is no such thing) and communism. It was so inspiring to meet with the crew in their Silicon Valley studio as most of them had fled communist countries for a life of freedom in the United States of America.
