A Word to the Christians Who Despise Trump

Christians must be able to do two important things at the same time: condemn the sin and theological errors of those they admire, while also acknowledging the valuable contributions those individuals made.

We cannot be satisfied with simply doing one or the other. We must deal honestly with the sins and shortcomings of our American heroes.

We must be able to see the valuable contributions they made, by the grace of God, while also reckoning with their sin.

For example, if your hatred of Trump dismisses all of the positive policy changes he made while President, then likely you would also despise…

           – George Washington (slave owner)
– Thomas Jefferson (slave owner/Deist)
– Ben Franklin (Deist)
– General/President Grant (alcoholic)
– General Patton (foul-mouthed hothead)
– FDR (hardly a Christian)
I can add a few more people to the list:
– JFK (Womanizer)
– Bill Clinton (Womanizer)
– Hillary Clinton (foul-mouthed abortion enthusiast)

– Kamala Harris (Willie Brown/abortion enthusiast/foul mouth)

Word to the wise: we are not voting for a pastor; don’t succumb to the Trump Derangement Syndrome. Pray for the USA and for God’s will to be done.

By the way, I don’t hate you for liking Kamala; I’d advise you to not hate me for liking Trump–it’s destroying you, not me.
