Too Hot, Too Fast? Reviewing the Facts…

According to a recent article in the New York Times:

The world is getting hotter, faster. A report published last week found that human-caused global warming is now increasing…

The article, entitled, The World is Warming Up. And It’s Happening Fast, is nothing more than another desperate attempt by lame leftist influencers who are trying to frighten the uniformed into further submission. In fact, as I reveal in my most recent book, Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty, and Property, promoting unfounded fear has always been the primary strategy of socialists and communists.

Thankfully, the Trump administration, the Republican Party, and the MAGA movement at large is having nothing to do with it.

Nonetheless, we need to be on guard and ready to defend our position.

The “getting hotter, faster” mantra is based upon an unfounded doctrine that the world is fast approaching a temperature threshold that has never been crossed before. However, as I illustrate in Climate Cult, that prediction is total bunk. My conclusion is based on facts, not fiction. Boosting my confidence is a man who has provided us with the most prolific voice to swim upstream from the global warming gobbledygook. His name is John Clauser, and he is no slacker.

In fact, Dr. Clauser was the 2022 Nobel Prize recipient for physics.

While writing Climate Cult, Clauser joined another Nobel laureate and over 1,600 professionals in signing the World Climate Declaration (WCD) organized by Climate Intelligence (CLINTEL).  This powerful declaration asserts that there is no “climate emergency,” that climate change science is not conclusive, and that the earth’s history over thousands of years shows a consistently changing climate.

As I share in Climate Cult, Clauser states:

“I read all of the various [United Nations’ International Panel on Climate Change] reports [and the] National Academy reports on this.  As a physicist, I’d worked at some excellent institutions — Caltech, Columbia, Cal Berkeley — where very careful science needed to be done.  And reading these reports, I was appalled at how sloppy the work was.  And in particular, it was very obvious, even in the earliest reports, and all carried on through to the present, that clouds were not at all understood.…It’s just simply bad science.”

Focusing on the inherent weaknesses of the climate models used to forecast supposed climate change, Clauser continues, “I believe I have the missing piece of the puzzle that has been left out in virtually all of these computer programs.  And that is the effect of clouds.”

Clauser contends such modeling presents something akin to fiction. “That’s a totally artificial Earth.  It is a totally artificial case for using a model, and this is pretty much what the IPCC and others use — a cloud-free earth.”

Friends, a “cloud-free earth” may well be the biggest scientific scam in history!

Can you believe it? These computer models, that supposedly predict the end of the world, are not just incapable of replicating cloud cover in their various illustrations but they’re unable to predict the effects that clouds have in relationship to temperature.

As I contend in Climate Cult:

This is a huge win for climate truth, which the propagandists suppress from their congregants.  Such blatant censorship is emblematic of a cult, intended to perpetuate a continual state of fear, which is needed to keep the masses moving in the proper direction and allow the climate change high priests to continue their indoctrination of humanity.

I encourage you to arm yourself with the truth and pick up a copy of Climate Cult right away. And thanks.

A Plea For Climate Sanity

It was an absolute pleasure to be a return guest on the Tom Nelson Podcast!

Tom graciously provided me with over an hour to present a PowerPoint presentation based on content found in my book, Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty, and Property.

We discussed everything from the absolute hoax regarding CO2 being a deadly pollutant, to the attempts to modify the climate via solar geo engineering. And, of course, I provided jaw-droppers from the book that convincingly illustrate how direct disciples of Marx founded the modern environmentalist movement.

Not only do I believe you will enjoy this podcast, but I hope you will help get the word out by sharing it.

Thanks, and many blessings to you!

PS: Not surprisingly, YouTube has somehow prevented me from sharing the link to the podcast, so instead I’m linking to Tom’s lesser known Rumble account.

The Victory Speech We Don’t Want to Hear

As a member of the San Francisco media, I’ve been watching Kamala Harris since 2003 when she ran for District Attorney against the incumbent DA, Terrence Hallinan. First, she was accused of being tactless for running against the man who hired her as a deputy attorney several years earlier. Then, it was discovered she won by seriously violating campaign finance laws.

Even by San Francisco standards, Harris’s eight-years as DA pushed the progressive envelope. She protected illegal immigrant drug dealers from prison with her “smart on crime” initiative, expunging their criminal records and providing them job training. One person from the program went on to assault a woman, breaking her skull.

When an El Salvadorian MS-13 gang member murdered a father and his two sons, Harris adamantly refused to enforce California’s death penalty. The killer was in the US illegally and had been arrested for numerous gang-related offenses as a juvenile. I’ll never forget the call I received on my radio program from the grieving widow who lost her husband two boys. She was outraged by Harris’s inflexibility.

Curious, I discovered Kamala’s dad was a leftist professor emeritus at Stanford (specializing in post-Keynesian economics), and that he met her mom while they were student activists at the University of California-Berkeley during the hippy/counterculture movement.  Harris, I figured, was cut from their radical cloth and gravitated to the judicial system with lofty goals to end alleged disparate outcomes, structural racism, and mass incarceration.

When running for California’s Attorney General, I heard Harris use an odd phrase she has employed many times since: “To see what could be, unburdened by what has been.” Kamala has since explained it’s a slogan her mother used to employ. While many have taken a stab at the meaning of this peculiar sentence, it’s possible it’s a catchphrase inspired by Karl Marx. For example, in his 1848 Communist Manifesto, Marx wrote: In bourgeois society, therefore, the past dominates the present; in Communist society, the present dominates the past.

Marx perceived the past as representing of a system of slavery driven by capitalism, which he wanted to replace with communism.

I contend Kamala dreams of a similar world.  I recently listened to her 2016 Senate victory speech presented to staff and supporters on election night. Her brief remarks make it vividly clear she has an ax to grind with America’s past and she is ready to see what could be.

“We know the stakes are high,” she said. “Do we retreat, or do we fight? I say we fight. And I intend to fight!”

In the span of eight fiery minutes, she used the term “fight” 33 times.

“I intend to fight for a state that has the largest number of immigrants, documented and undocumented, of any state in this country and do everything we can to bring them justice and dignity and fairness under the law and pass comprehensive immigration reform. Bring them out from under the shadows,” she exclaimed. “I intend to fight for Black Lives Matters…I intend to fight for a woman’s access to health care and reproductive health right. I intend to fight against those naysayers who suggest that there is no such thing as climate change…I intend to fight big oil, I intend to fight the science deniers…our ideals are at stake right now and we all have to fight!”

She closed her remarks stating, “I believe this is a pivotal moment in the history of our country. I believe we’re at an inflection point. I believe we are at a place that is similar to that place in time when my parents met when they were graduate students at UC Berkeley in the 60s and active in the civil rights movement…”

Appears the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

I encourage you to review the speech for yourself. May it inspire you to get out the vote and pray she doesn’t have the opportunity to repeat any portion of that speech on November 7.

Hurricane Facts vs Climate Fiction

This article by Brian Sussman originally appeared at American Thinker

Following two back-to-back hurricanes that severely pummeled the Southeastern United States, climate activists have swooped in like vultures, blaming political conservatives for the destruction wrought by Helene and Milton. At MSNBC, Chris Hayes spouts, “We have known for decades that our planet is warming and that we would start seeing the brutal effects. But conservatives remain so deep in their denial that they are flailing around for anyone or anything else to blame.”

While many attempt to falsely connect hurricanes to anthropogenic climate change, the truth is these monster storms are a natural and necessary function of our planet’s atmosphere. But that didn’t prevent CNN from posting a piece wildly declaring, “Helene was supercharged by ultra-warm water made up to 500 times more likely by global warming.”

Hurricane season in the Atlantic Ocean traditionally begins on June 1, as the waters near the equator warm generally have warmed to near 80 degrees Fahrenheit, the minimum temperature required for a hurricane to form. Water temperature is often considered the fuel for a hurricane because as the warm water evaporates it subsequently condenses within the storm releasing latent heat. However, there are a multitude of other factors that must be present for hurricane formation including a storm’s distance from the equator, light winds blowing into the center of the storm, high humidity values, and something we refer to as the “saturated adiabatic lapse rate” which is basically the rate at which saturated air cools with altitude. When all of these ingredients are in perfect sync, a hurricane begins to form.

Dr. Neil Frank, longtime head of the National Hurricane Center, contends the total number hurricanes each year ebbs and flows in sixty-year cycles. On the average, each year there are ten tropical storms (wind speeds less than 74-mph) that develop over the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of Mexico. Six of these storms become hurricanes (wind speeds of 74-mph or more).  In an average 3-year period, roughly five hurricanes strike the United States coastline, killing approximately 50 to 100 people anywhere from Texas to Maine. Of these, two are typically major hurricanes (winds greater than 110 mph).

The cover endorsement for my recent book, Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty and Property, was written by Dr. Frank. He contends there is no evidence suggesting we are seeing more hurricanes than ever (over the past 170 years of records), and he insists the frequency and intensity of hurricanes has not changed over years.  Additionally, Dr. Frank reminds us that hurricanes are a beneficial component of the overall global atmosphere as they act as mechanisms which draw hot air from the earth’s equatorial regions into the jet stream which then transports the natural warmth to the colder latitudes. This allows for expansive and comfortable temperate zones, where most of us live.

But why do recent storms seem worse than ever?

The answer is threefold.

First, there is no doubt property damage, in terms of dollars, is on the rise. This trend is driven by the continued development of expensive property along the coasts putting more value at risk of wind and water damage. Also, flooding has increased due to residential and commercial properties edging right up to the water’s edge. Under these modern circumstances, any given hurricane would cause more damage than it would have in the past. Sadly, the same could be said for the number of lives lost during these storms.

Second is media coverage. Back when I was presenting the weather for both CBS-TV News and KPIX-TV in San Francisco, content producers knew severe weather gains eyeballs. It’s still true on TV today.

Third, there is the ad nauseam, agenda driven propaganda put forth by activists attempting to pin their climate fiction hoax on deadly hurricanes.

But why is Florida seemingly often in the crosshairs?

Because the “Sunshine State” is a sitting duck. It’s a 500-mile long, 160-mile-wide peninsula extending into the warm waters of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico with 1,146 miles of coastline and an average elevation of a mere 100-feet. Given that the average hurricane is about 300-miles-wide, the Florida peninsula is a prime target for potential disaster. As a result, during this 2024 season, of the nine hurricanes formed to date, four have hit the United States with two terribly striking Florida.

Hurricane Helene: Nothing To Do With Climate Change

Yes, Hurricane Helene was awful.

No, the massive storm had nothing to do with s0-called “climate change.”

However, according to the propagandists at CNN this past Sunday:

For decades now, scientists have been warning us that extreme weather events will be exacerbated by this blanket of carbon pollution we’ve been wrapping around our planet,” said Katharine Hayhoe, chief scientist at the Nature Conservancy. “But as a human, it is shocking to see the devastation occurring in front of our eyes, affecting the people and places we know and love.

The lead endorsement for my new book, Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty and Property, was penned by Dr. Neil Frank, the former Director of the National Hurricane Center (a position he held for twenty years). He would be the first to agree that Helene was a powerful storm, but it must be noted, she developed in what was otherwise very sleepy hurricane season. Dr. Franks would also remind us that there have been significantly more stronger, dangerous, and deadly hurricanes that have hit the United States over the past 150 years.

Of course, none of that matters to liars in the media who are part of  an agenda to destroy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Hurricanes are an important natural function of the global environment. They provide a means for warm air in the tropical regions to be transported to the colder northern latitudes. This allows for, among other things, healthier and more abundant plant life which absorbs carbon dioxide and emits oxygen.

And by the way, in retort to the idiot from the Nature Conservancy quoted in the CNN piece, that “blanket of carbon pollution” she speaks of is–as I describe in my book–extremely thin.  Carbon dioxide accounts for a mere .04 percent of the atmosphere and of that only four percent is created by human activity. To help you wrap your brain about those figures, I quote a mathematician from Google in Climate Cult who explains, “for every 62,000 molecules in our atmosphere, only one is produced by the use of fossil fuels.”

Bottom line: weather happens. For each day of the year, as far back as the evidence will take us, extreme record weather events are established. Likewise, every day there is a catastrophic weather event that brings forth human tragedy, while at the same time we are able to enjoy breathtaking beauty in the skies above.
