Saturday evening thoughts from the Coast (plus an awesome sunset). – It’s the 7th night of Hanukah (a celebration that Jesus enjoyed), but what was the biggest miracle of this commemoration? – A few comments on the original war on Christmas. – And a preview of the upcoming episode of the Hidden Headlines Podcast (at www.BrianSussman.com) in which we will discuss social justice and diversity from a Biblical perspective.
With the recent efforts to prosecute my professional friend, Dr. Jerome Corsi, I am reminded of Ephesians 6:12 which says, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
This is an effort by the true Deep State, to take a good man out.
I’m praying for Jerome.
Ahh… The extra-hour of sleep did me well, and I hope it did the same for you too! It’s going to be a busy week, so allow me to share with you what’s on my mind. God bless you!
The Tree of Life Synagogue’s Rabbi said something on CNN from the Torah (Genesis 8:21) that has been swirling in my head ever since: “…every inclination of the the human heart is evil from childhood.” This verse illustrates the root cause of hatred in this world, but tie that to another verse from Genesis (3:14-15) and you gain another layer which explains why both the Jews and the authentic Christians are targets of persecution.
My heart is especially heavy on this Saturday evening. As the Nation Anthem finished during the 4th game of the World Series, I said to the family, “I’ll be right back.” I had to do this video, which reminds us that the Anthem protestors, the morality dismissers, the America haters, and the violent kooks in this country are an illustration of how far we have strayed from our fundamental underpinnings. Feel free to share this with others.
Okay, I’ll chill and go watch some baseball with the family.
