San Jose Church’s final day in court for violating “health restrictions” during shutdown

For the past couple months I’ve been attending one of the most uncompromising churches (maybe THE most uncompromising) in California.

I’m attending to worship God and show my support.

The church is Calvary Chapel in San Jose. It’s been holding indoor services in violation of pandemic health restrictions for months. Specifically, the church has ignored a court’s November restraining order enforcing the health restrictions.

Right now the fines are totaling over $1 million.

By the way, this is not a megachurch. When the “pandemic” began in March they were seeing about 300 people attend each Sunday. Now it’s more like 600-700 for each of their two Sunday meetings. If you want to wear a mask you can (most, including me don’t), and if you want to avoid sitting close to someone there’s is room to spread out.

The court is scheduled for a closing argument court hearing this week.

Calvary Chapel Attorney Robert Tyler, who is representing Calvary Chapel San Jose and its pastor, Mike McClure, said after a court hearing that the judge said Santa Clara County is “only looking for monetary sanctions” and does not want to place McClure or any other pastors in jail.

Again, Calvary Chapel faces more than $1 million in fines, although Tyler and other supporters of the church hope the court will side with the congregation and rule the fines don’t have to be paid.

This weekend McClure told those in attendance that he serves a higher authority than the County of Santa Clara. He turned us to the New Testament book of Hebrew 10:25, which says,

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another,and so much the more as you see the Day approaching

Note to the ruling authorities of Santa Clara County: God’s Word is the ultimate essential service.

Also, my comments, not the Pastor’s: what we’re witnessing across the globe with these insane shutdowns is a test of the transnational elites (communists) to see how easily it will be to shutdown one of their greatest hurdles–the authentic followers of the Messiah Jesus.

“In addition to this coronavirus pandemic, there is a greater pandemic,” Tyler said. “And that’s a pandemic affecting mental health and affecting employment, affecting businesses.”

Lives “are literally saved from suicide” because of the church, Tyler said.

McClure, in comments after the court hearing, said the church is trying to “just help people … like the church has always done.”

“It’s sad to see the state which our country is – where you have the state fighting against the church or the church against the state,” McClure said. “But we need to remember what made America great. It was our trusting God.

“… It’s said you could go 30 days without food. You can go three days without water. But you can’t go three seconds without hope. America needs to know the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

By the way, note to the local media: Pastor McClure NEVER said that by attending his church, or any other, that one could become protected from the coronavirus.

The closing arguments will be held at the County Courthouse Thursday. There will be hundreds of people outside the court praying.

For Shame: the COVID-19 Relief Bill just passed by Congress

Question: What is 5,593 pages long, costs the American taxpayer $900 billion, sends $135 million to Burma, $130 million to Nepal, $85.5 million to Cambodia, $33 million to Venezuela (all without spending accountability, these bills never do), and provides up to $1800 for the families of illegal immigrants. Oh, and it gives you $600?

Answer: The Covid-19 Aid Bill!

 

That’s right, you lost your business, your lost your job, your hours have been cut, you’re getting fat because your gym is closed, you’re down because you can’t hang out with friends, you know of a person who committed suicide in part because lockdown, and this is the “bipartisan deal” created by congress to address COVID-19?????
AND IT WAS ONLY VOTED DOWN BY 6 REPUBLICANS IN THE SENATE.

And we’re to believe everyone in Congress had a chance to read this thing?

 

Please, Mr. President, veto this faster than Oprah changes diet plans.

 

China’s COVID Cover Up and Propaganda War

When the news of a coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China first appeared in Western media outlets in January, China’s state-run news operation went into full propaganda mode, striking a phony tone of reassurance and transparency to the West with hashtags like #wuhancoronavirus and #wuhanpneumonia.

Then in February, the Chinese made a big shift away from that tone.

According to a new report by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future, there were two distinct shifts. The first ignored details of the disease’s spread and origins in favor of social media posts that praised the response of the communist government and President Xi Jinping. Then, later in February, stories and posts began aggressively accusing the West of racism and xenophobia, and even doubted the origins of the virus.

The shift in message can be seen via Tweets, provided by Recorded Future. The first is from early January and the second from Feb. 29.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Both tweets are from a communist China propaganda account called, Global Times.  It has 1.7 million followers. According to Recorded Future, Global Times and other such China-controlled propaganda outfits have posted tens of thousands of coronavirus-related items on services Twitter and Instagram.

Recorded Future’s story aligns with a similar report published by news site Pro Publica. It describes a massive Twitter disinformation operation run by the Chinese government.

As for the earlier Chinese media messages describing the coronavirus spread in Wuhan, Recorded Future said “censors and propagandists had not yet communicated coordinated guidelines for foreign messaging by state-run media.”

Many of the Chinese propaganda outlets continue to publish on Twitter, despite putting forth false information. A Twitter spokesperson told Fortune that they are aware of such accounts and, in some cases, are taking action against them (amazing these bastards at Twitter have shadow-banned a small time guy like me for the past decade, and yet they allow this dangerous commie propaganda continue, all in the name of free speech*).

“Using technology and human review in concert, we proactively monitor Twitter to identify attempts at platform manipulation and mitigate them,” said a Twitter spokesperson. “If we identify further information campaigns on our service that we can reliably attribute to state-backed activity either domestic or foreign-led, we will disclose them.”

All of this comes as the Chinese Communist Party attempts to portray its handling of the Wuhan situation as a marvelous success, and a wonderful model for the world to follow. Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports shared photos of thousands of funeral urns in Wuhan, suggesting the death toll is much higher than the official 2,535 number the government has put forth.  Also, the International Business Times  reported a soaring number of phone cancellations (in the millions) as evidence that the death toll in China owing to the coronavirus has been understated.

China is widely reported to have active programs related to the development of chemical and biological weapons, although essentially no details of these programs have appeared in the open literature.

China is believed to have an advanced chemical warfare program that includes research and development, production and weaponization capabilities. Its current inventory is believed to include the full range of traditional chemical agents. It also has a wide variety of delivery systems for chemical agents to include artillery rockets, aerial bombs, sprayers, and short-range ballistic missiles. Chinese forces have conducted defensive CW training and are prepared to operate in a contaminated environment…

On 30 December 1996 the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress China ratified the Chemical Weapons Convention [CWC]…

China possesses an advanced biotechnology infrastructure as well as the requisite munitions production capabilities necessary to develop, produce and weaponize biological agents. Although China has consistently claimed that it has never researched or produced biological weapons, it is nonetheless believed likely that it retains a biological warfare capability begun before acceding to the BWC.

China is commonly considered to have an active biological warfare program, including dedicated research and development activities funded and supported by the Government for this purpose. There is essentially no open source data on the subject of Chinese BW activities, and many legitimate research programs use similar, if not identical equipment and facilities.
