Paul Pelosi’s Attack: Never Let a Serious Crisis Go to Waste

“Never let a serious crisis go to waste.”

Rahm Emanuel, then chief of staff to President-elect Barack Obama, famously issued what has come to be known as Rahm’s Rule: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that [is] it’s an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.”

Now enter  Paul Pelosi, husband of the ever powerful Speaker of the House and ruler of the Democrat Party, Nancy Pelosi.

The Paul Pelosi attacker is David Depape of Berkeley, California. He was described on his social media platforms as a “hemp jewelry maker” and a local “Castro nudist activist,” who has a Russian girlfriend. His now offline Facebook page supposedly made it clear he is no fan of Trump.

Apparently his social media posts also including something about January 6th and the 2020 vote results. The media is spinning this to imply he was a right-winger who was for the 6th and against the results of the 2020 election; likely it was just the opposite. They are also aligning him with Mike Lyndell, the My Pillow CEO, and the anti-vax people. Lyndell and anti-vax are trigger words for liberals.  I’d like to see the actual posts before jumping to conclusions, but trust me, I have my doubts–big time. The Mercury News is saying that somehow they saw his censored Facebook page and it  “includes a flurry of posts slamming ‘woke racists,’ proclaiming that Hitler ‘did nothing wrong,’ and lauding podcaster Joe Rogan.

Hmm.

As for me, this dude hardly sounds your average MAGA supporter. He supposedly once lived in the Castro District of San Francisco (do your own research on that) and presently lives in a broken down bus in Berkeley, California. Depape’s also turns up in a search of past local news articles connected to “Gypsy” Taub, a longtime liberal Bay Area nude activist.  A 2008 article in The Oakland Tribune said Depape had three children with Taub.

Oh, and he’s also in the U.S.A. illegally (from Canada).

The guy seriously needs mental help.

There are more questions here than answers, and an objective journalist would note this important fact. For starters, one would think the incredibly wealthy Pelosi family would have much better security,  given Nancy’s extraordinary position within the U.S. government, than to let a kook break in (through an open window in the back of the house?) at 2:27AM.

Clearly, newspaper, TV, and radio journalism is dead.

Meantime, the Democrats and their accomplices in the leftist media have a nugget that they can flaunt as they get closer to an election that does not look good for them. MAGA. MAGA. MAGA.

We certainly wish the best for Paul Pelosi. He’s had a rough go of it this year, including the DUI. My prayer is that he, and his wife, humble themselves, repent of their sin, trust Jesus as their Savior, and follow HIM. They are both getting up there in years, and their immense riches and power will do them no good on judgement day.

Downside of Student Loan Debt Forgiveness

Americans are poised to foot a nearly $300 billion deal with Biden’s announcement Wednesday to cancel $10,000 for each student loan borrower, $20,000 for borrowers who received Pell Grants, and extend a repayment pause through Dec. 31, 2022.

The handout only applies to borrowers earning less than $125,000 a year, and undergraduate loan borrowers can cap repayment at 5% of their monthly income.

This means We The People are set to forgive debt incurred by former students who received degrees in ridiculous things that rarely turn into careers; former students who never completed a degree; former students who slept through all their classes and quit after a semester or two.

This also means that, “Students will likely feel liberated to borrow more money on the assumption of future loan forgiveness, and universities will take advantage of the additional borrowing by raising tuition,” said Brian Riedl, a senior fellow in budget, tax and economic policy at the Manhattan Institute.

Additionally, this huge holiday for student debt will increase future tuition costs.  “Even after spending over $300 billion and worsening inflation, canceling student loan debt will raise tuition prices for future generations,” said Isabelle Morales, a policy communications specialist at Americans for Tax Reform. “The primary driver of tuition costs has been the federal government’s subsidization of college. If colleges and universities expect the government to forgive large chunks of the cost of their education, they’ll be motivated to raise costs on students.”

As for the responsible people who have paid off their college debt, White House Spokesperson Susan Rice stuttered yesterday: “Yes, those who have paid their loans back deserve to be credited.  That’s fantastic.  That’s to their — to their credit.”

Biden’s student loan socialism is a slap in the face to every family who sacrificed to save for college, every graduate who paid their debt, and every American who chose a career path in our Armed Forces in order to avoid taking on debt. This policy is astonishingly unfair.

 

Raid on Mar-a-Lago: straight from the Tyranny Playbook

No one is saying what the FBI was looking for when it executed a search warrant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago mansion on Monday.

Press reports say the search was conducted for the benefit of the National Archives, which previously retrieved 15 boxes of White House records, some of them apparently classified, that should not have been moved to Mar-a-Lago.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the argument will be,  “We were here looking for specific documents, we didn’t find them,  but look what we did find.”  Who knows what they may have perhaps even planted?  Nobody know what happened when the FBI was in Mar-a-lago because the lawyers weren’t allowed to observe.

The left will stop at nothing.

Donald Trump has responded by saying in  Truth Social post:

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

“After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”

Is it a coincidence that this raid by the FBI came two days after Trump’s latest hint at a 2024 run? 

“It’s coming,” Trump said when responding to questions from the press before he took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, “and I think people are going to be very happy,”

At the event he also said, “Our country has never been in a position like this. We lost everything. We’ve lost energy independence. We’ve lost our prestige. We’ve lost every single thing you can lose.”

On the post, Trump called the raid “prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want [him] to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls,” adding that Democrats “will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.”

Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.

As for the raid on Mar A Lago, what do you think the democrats  might plan with those 87,000 new IRS agents and raids on Mr. and Mrs. America???

 

Covid: How the Swamp Tricked Trump and Locked-Down the People

My friends at World Net Daily have published a story sharing how the communist seditionists on the left tricked the Trump administration regarding measures taken to deal with the spread of COVID.  It was a political hit job which eventually endangered the entire population of the USA, and allowed draconian mandates to be forced upon the people.

Dr. Deborah Birx, who served as the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator under President Donald Trump, has admitted in a new book, Silent Invasion, that she manipulated data and quietly altered CDC guidance without authorization.

In the book she confesses she “devised” a “strategic sleight-of-hand” method of reporting she described as “subterfuge.”

“This wasn’t the only bit of subterfuge I had to engage in,” she writes.

Birx insisted, contrary to the White House and the CDC, that the asymptomatic spread of COVID-19 was significant.

“Eight months into the pandemic, many at both the White House and the CDC still refused to see that silent spread played a prominent role in viral spread and that it started with social gatherings, especially among the younger adults,” says Birx.

Birx opposed the advice of then-coronavirus adviser Dr. Scott Atlas to limit testing on the premise that asymptomatic transmission was minimal and not driving the pandemic.

She and then CDC Director Robert Redfield “agreed to quietly rewrite the guidance and post it to the CDC website.”

Listen to this: “We would not seek approval,” she writes, “but we were committed to subverting the dangerous message that limiting testing was the right thing to do.”

Birx recalls a phone call from White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows: “What the hell do you think you’re doing? You rewrote and posted the CDC testing stuff,” said Meadows, according to Birx’ account.

“Yes, I did, but – .”

“There’s no ‘buts’ here. You went over my head,” Meadows said.

World Net Daily reminds us Birx was the main influencer at the White House and was the driving force behind the nationwide lockdowns.  She was also the one who came up with warning Americans to restrict their Thanksgiving 2020 gatherings to “your immediate household,” even though she spent that Thanksgiving in Delaware, where she met with four generations for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

 

 

New Face of Evil: Jane’s Revenge

Radical pro-abortion group ‘Jane’s Revenge’ has declared open season on pro-life clinics, describing in a letter posted this week how “easy and fun” it is to attack such clinics after claiming responsibility for a string of vandalism and arson attacks.

The attacks, mostly lodged at Christian faith-based pregnancy crisis centers, have taken place over the past few weeks in the wake of the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion suggesting the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Clinics have been tagged with various  renditions of the messages “Jane’s Revenge” or “If abortions aren’t safe, neither are you.”

What we are witnessing are the very “flaming arrows of the evil one,” spoken of in The New Testament’s Book of Ephesians, chapter Six.

The open letter from Jane’s reads: ‘This is not a declaration of war. War has been upon us for decades. A war which we did not want, and did not provoke. Too long have we been attacked for asking for basic medical care. Too long have we been shot, bombed, and forced into childbirth without consent.’

The statement also demanded “the disbanding of all anti-choice establishments’ within 30 days,” and states that its first attack was “only a warning,” but there will be future attacks until “the inalienable right to manage our own health is returned to us.”  The group claims to have a presence across the United States that could launch further attacks.

If Roe is overturned, prepare for these acts of pure evil to pivot towards church buildings.

Should this occur, it will be a defining moment. Not all such buildings will be attacked, but only the ones known for being places of worship and gathering for followers of Jesus who are unabashedly serious about their faith and the saving power of God’s Word, the Bible.

It will also be a defining moment for church leadership: will pastors preach the full Word, or will they dance around the edges in order to not make waves?  This is not a stretch given the fact that there are so many churches today who refuse to address what the Bible has to say about, oh, say for example: sexuality, real marriage, fatherhood, morality, and the “S” word (sin).

If the pastors of these churches won’t go there now, they’ll never bring up the “A” word (abortion).
