Why can’t they see what’s so OBVIOUS?

My guest this week, on the Brian Sussman Show Podcast, is Albin Sadar, longtime producer of the Eric Metaxas Show. Albin has written an excellent book, Obvious: Seeing the evil that is in plain sight and doing something about it.

Biden’s SEC Chairman brings us a step closer to “the mark of the beast”

You have heard of “the mark of the beast.” Found in the Bible’s final book, Revelation, we read of an end times dictato the beast—who will cause,

the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name (Revelation 13:16;17 NASB).  

 Given that facial recognition ID has become the norm, and certain retail stores are now utilizing a simple wave of your palm to pay at their point of purchase, the above passage no longer reads like science fiction. However, there’s a new twist that’s just occurred  in Washington, D.C. and it has taken us a giant step closer to this end times scenario. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman, Gary Gensler (appointed by President Biden), held a vote on one of his most controversial proposals: a rule that would require corporate America to disclose material risks supposedly caused by climate change.

The rule passed. Not good.

I write about this concept in Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty, and Property. The SEC is now demanding that publicly traded companies provide their investors with environmental scores on their overall carbon dioxide footprint created from the fossil fuels used in manufacturing, delivery, administration, etc. This is part of something known in the corporate world as “ESG”—Environment, Social, Governance. “E” is not about being a good steward of the environment; it’s about “climate justice.”  Based on Biden’s assertions that “Climate change is the existential threat to humanity,” climate justice implies the goal of every organization is to be carbon neutral or “Net Zero.” But, as with all things in the climate movement, there is an agenda attached to this concept.  For example, according to UNICEF — the United Nations Children’s Fund — climate justice also means “combating social injustice, gender injustice, economic injustice, intergenerational injustice and environmental injustice.”

Though the SEC didn’t make a rule on the “S” and “G,” it’s only a matter of time. “S” provides scoring metrics for employee gender and diversity inclusion, relationships with labor unions, relations, and community relations.  “S” is a slap in the face to the for-profit corporate world.  Profit is no longer the bottom line, but being woke is.

“G,” is for governance and applies to the board of directors, their race and gender makeup, the company’s political contributions, lobbying record, hiring diversity, employee benefits, and community philanthropy.

ESG, then, is an imposed measurement of things that don’t relate to business performance and, because living up to such standards is costly, ESG principles tend to hinder new players from entering the market.  Startups who seek to go public find themselves pressured for disclosure on everything from their staff’s race and gender to every bit of carbon dioxide expelled from their supply chain.

When the climate disclosure rule was first proposed back in March 2022, Gensler said, “… investors need reliable information about climate risks to make informed investment decisions. Today’s proposal would help issuers more efficiently and effectively disclose these risks and meet investor demand, as many issuers already seek to do.”

Eventually this ESG scheme will trickle down to you, the average citizen. Don’t be surprised when a personal ESG-type score is a part of a job application—after all, the company will want to keep their overall ratings high for investors. And why would a bank or financial institution want to mar their ESG by having a carbon sinner like you as a client. Or, maybe that photo of you on social media wearing a MAGA hat triggered someone in HR and now your shown the door and fired for reasons that were never made clear to you?

Think I’m joking? As I discuss in Climate Cult, a chilling sign that everyone should consider occurred in 2021, when Deutsche Bank AG and Signature Bank announced that they would no longer provide financial services to former President Donald Trump or his business, the Trump Organization, purely for ideological reasons.

World’s Foremost Hurricane Expert Reveals the Climate Hoax

Dr. Neil Frank is the former Director of the National Hurricane Center and the world foremost expert on hurricanes. He’s always been a professional hero of mine (he’s 92-years young), and a couple months ago I literally prayed, “Lord, is there a way for Dr. Frank to read the manuscript for my book? I’d love to get his endorsement.”

Lo and behold, I was able to get the manuscript to Dr. Frank, and he did endorse it, with great enthusiasm I might add!

This week on my podcast, I present part one of my recent interview Dr. Frank. He describes how, in the Eighties, he initially trusted the cadre of scientists who were tooting the horn on global warming, but never researched any of their claims for himself as he was busy forecasting the biggest storms on earth. However, at the behest of a colleague, he did eventually dig into the details and was astounded by the sloppy conclusions of the global warming crowd.

In this episode of the Brian Sussman Show (EP 229, video version below) you’ll meet Dr. Frank and witness his passion as he shares that the claims from the climate change activists, especially regarding hurricanes, are not founded in reality.

“New Denial,” Proof Their Climate Charade is Falling Apart

Those who contend the theory of human-caused climate change is fraudulent are now being swept into an online dragnet designed to silence such “denial.” Using an “AI model to measure changes in climate denial on YouTube,” The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) has determined that those who oppose the theory have lost the scientific debate and have now pivoted to rhetorical arguments which CCDH refers to as the “New Denial.”

After examining over 12,000 videos, CCDH contrasts how the so-called deniers have altered their talking points recent years. According to the study, “Old Denial” claimed:
–  “Global warming is not happening.”
–  “Human-generated greenhouse gasses are not causing global warming.”

Now, New Denial, they say, states:
–  “The impacts of global warming are beneficial or harmless.”
–  “Climate solutions won’t work.”
–  “Climate science and the climate movement are unreliable.”

What is the Center for Countering Digital Hate’s recommendation to YouTube? Censorship, of course. In fact, they recommend YouTube declare: “We do not allow content that contradicts the authoritative scientific consensus on the causes, impacts, and solutions to climate change.”

This is exactly how cults operate, hence the title of my soon-to-be-released book, Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty and Property. Rather than win an argument on substance, they resort to discrediting their opposition and then refuse to allow them to be heard.

Having been in the thick of the climate change debate since my first book on the subject, Climategate, was published in 2010, I can tell the folks at Digital Hate why the focus of our argument has altered in recent years. It’s real simple: the theory of human-caused global warming and climate change has been debunked. That’s what science is all about, taking a premise and aggressively look for flaws. If defects can be found, you throw out the theory. Let me share two such flaws. First, there have been periods of time on planet earth where the temperature was clearly warmer than today, long before combustion engines were using fossil fuels. This is evident from historical footnotes which speak of delicious wine grapes being grown 1,000 years ago in England (the weather is much too cold to accomplish that today), to the Vikings having an expansive base of operations located in Greenland, where the climate was mild compared to today. But then there is the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere derived from fossil fuels: for every 62,000 molecules in the sky above, only one is caused by the use of gas or oil. The tail can’t wag the dog. You see, for we climate realists, the scientific debate was won years ago; so now we’ve moved on. Yes, CO2 is an essential atmospheric gas that plants depend on; the more CO2, the more plants thrive. The solutions the climate agenda proposes are not just untenable, but ridiculous. And yes, their movement is founded upon Marxist doctrine.

The climate change agenda attempts to gain converts by frightening them with predictions of global mayhem. Every storm, every wildfire, every heat wave and cold snap is now the result of your lifestyle.  It’s as if extreme weather is new to planet Earth.  Their agenda prescribes solar and wind power, electric vehicles, vegan diets, and birth control. They claim that if their environmental plans are adopted by developed nations, they will be able to cleanse the world of its former dirty carbon footprint and bring forth a new area of social justice and equity.

Don’t take the bait. This report from the Center for Countering Digital Hate is akin agitprop designed to bully YouTube into shutting down opposing points of view. My current Brian Sussman Show Podcast (Episode 228) reveals even more to this important story.
